The Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations and visits of De Ruien from 1st January 2018. Deviations from these Terms and Conditions are not possible.
Reservations become final after the requestor has read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
The requestor is obliged to communicate all requested information to the organisation. This is to ensure a smooth and correct handling of the reservations and visits.
The prices on the time of reservation apply. All mentioned prices include taxes.
Mollie is the payment partner of De Ruien. The applicant receives a payment invitation from Mollie via e-mail, which expires 10 days after the reservation.
If the payment is not completed within 10 days by following the instructions given by Mollie, the reservation will be automatically removed from the reservation system. The requestor will receive a cancellation notice via e-mail as confirmation.
All visits must be paid for in advance. For both guided group walks and school visits, the payable amount must be in the De Ruien account two weeks before the visit.
Payment on receipt of invoice is not possible. However, on receipt of payment with an additional €5 administrative cost, the organisation will send an invoice marked as paid, if requested by the customer upon reservation.
Reservations which have been paid for may not be cancelled, changed or subject to refund.
For safety reasons (flooding, unforeseen weather conditions), your underground visit in De Ruien may be cancelled by the organisation.
Cancellation of a guided group walk leaves the requestor with two options: either the organisation can rebook the visit free of charge on another date, or the organisation provides an alternative, above-ground tour.
Cancellation of an interactive trip with a tablet will be compensated with a gift voucher with which the requestor can visit De Ruien at any other moment. This gift voucher is valid for 1 year.
Cancellation of a school visit leaves the requestor with two options: either the organisation can rebook the visit free of charge on another date, or the organisation provides an alternative, above-ground tour.

Each visit starts punctually at the time shown on the ticket. Visitors are expected to arrive at De Ruien 15 minutes before time. Latecomers will not be admitted to the tour.
